Requirements for the hydraulic
circuit
Extend the hydraulic lines towards the
system using pipes with a minimum
diameter of DN 25.
Depending on the minimum flow,
make sure you carry out the following:
•
Install the overflow valve in the
circuit's farthest point.
•
Use a collection tank to uncouple
the heating circuits.
•
If possible, install heated towel
rails without thermostatic valves
(requires approval by the system
manager). In this case, calculate
loss of head to determine the wa-
ter flow.
For an approximate calculation of the
system's minimum volume, consider a
volume 3 times greater than the heat
pump power expressed in kW.
The energy necessary for defrosting
must be available in the secondary
circuit at all times. This can be
achieved with the following:
•
Make provisions for a water accu-
mulation also in the event of a
direct circuit.
•
For systems with low water vol-
umes, install a heater and ensure
the minimum flow (see technical
data).
