Switching on the machine

Requirements

•

Screen printer connected to power supply system

•

Compressed air connected

•

Emergency-stop switch released

•

Foot switch connected

•

Cover closed

Note!

Before switching on the screen printer, ensure that an operating pressure
of 0.6 MPa is available and the pressure reducer for the screen clamping
system (left-hand pressure reducer) is set to 0.4 MPa (max.).

Rotate the main switch on the front right-hand side of the machine to
the „

“ position (ON).

The PC starts up. The machine program which was last active is load-
ed automatically.

The main menu appears on the screen see Chapter 5

Operation

The transparent front cover is unlocked.

Rotate the main switch on the front right-hand side of the machine to
the „

“ position (ON).

Use the arrow keys to select the CONTROL menu item.

Press the ENTER key.

The control unit is switched on.

⇒

The status field changes to green.

Use the arrow keys to select the BASIC POSITION menu item.

⇒

The status field changes to green.

⇒

The table motors perform a reference drive.

Note!

The screen clamping system remains active even when the machine is
switched off (hand-switch).
