Scanning the Sensor Locations
Scanning the sensors of a GSN produces a 3D sensor cloud of the
locations of those sensors.
You must scan before you probe .
CAUTION:
To avoid personal injury, hold the scanner’s cable with
your free hand to keep it from wrapping around the subject, getting
stepped on, rolled over, or entangled.
Scan as follows:

Before scanning sensors, plan a scanning path around the
subject’s head that adheres to all
scanning tips in section 5.3.

Start at the top of the head.

One swath is one arced, downward sweep.

Work around the head in the pattern of orange slices.
