2.11 Special function II: Operation of the emergency exit control unit with the electrical
security lock 809
If both an emergency exit security system with control unit 720-30 or 720-32 and also an electrical security lock 809
are used at a door, it is advisable to wire the system in accordance with the above terminal diagram.
The electrical security lock is triggered via the
relay output "unlocked".
In the terminal diagram illustrated above, the n.c.
contact of the alarm relay is additionally looped into
the triggering conductor, meaning that in case of a
hazard unlocking process, the emergency exit
security system in turn triggers the temporary release
input of the emergency exit control unit.
The profile cylinder contact of the electrical safety
lock in turn triggers the temporary release input of the
emergency exit control unit.

(drawn: bolt thrown)
S2=Limit switch door outside handle
switches only when the outside handle is actuated
S3=Limit switch door inside handle
switches only when the inside handle is actuated
S4=Profile cylinder contact
switches when actuating the profile cylinder
The contact which triggers the coil must be
connected in the fail locked version as a
make contact (normally open contact) and in
the fail unlocked version as a break contact
(normally closed contact).
Note
All contact positions are drawn unactuated.
When actuating the outside door handle,
both door handle contacts are switched.
