Systems with indirect (central) release (special function I)
If indirect (central) release of all doors is required in a system with several emergency exits using only a single
emergency switch actuation, the control unit model 720-32 must be used. This control unit is equipped with a safety
relay circuit through whose contacts current is applied to the relevant locking element. The positively driven contacts
of the three safety relays which make up the circuit are linked in such a way that in case of a fault, for example
welded contacts or a spring breakage, re-activation of the locked status is prevented.
In this case, the power supply to the safety relay for all the doors is routed via an emergency button model 725 NAM-
01 with bipolar cut-out in case of emergency.
Up to a maximum of 20 doors can be switched using an emergency cut-out module 725-NAM-01.
Overall current consumption of the safety relay circuit per control unit 720-32:
appr. 110 mA
