1.5 Function
variants
The functions of the emergency exit control unit
can be varied by means of several rotary and slide
switches on the main circuit board and so adjusted in
line with the relevant application.
1.5.1 Temporary
release
The duration of the temporary release can be set
between 11 and 176 seconds in 11-second steps.
The temporary release actuated with the key-
operated switch in the door terminal or the terminal
module can also be switched off completely.
(However, temporary release using the external keys
is always still possible.)
1.5.2 Permanent
unlocking
Permanent unlocking via the key-operated switch
integrated in the door terminal or the terminal module
can be switched off.
For special applications, in which you wish to
prevent unintentional initiation of a permanent release
status, it is possible to activate a delayed acceptance
of the command. In this case, the command is only
accepted when the key is held for longer than 5
seconds in the left-hand switching position or the
relevant key of a central control panel 725 (if
connected) is actuated for longer than 5 seconds.
1.5.3 Pre-alarm
The "pre-alarm" function can be switched off. The
duration of the pre-alarm can be set between 4 and
64 seconds.
1.5.4 Alarm
The acoustic signalling of an alarm by the buzzer
integrated in the door terminal / terminal module can
be deactivated in cases where alarms are triggered
centrally. With central release and external
emergency unlocking (e.g. fire alarm control centre),
no acoustic signal is then given off at the individual
door.
The alarm causes "Emergency button", "Smoke
detector line" and "Sabotage" are, however, always
also signalled acoustically in the door terminal and
terminal module.
1.5.5 Alarm
time
The acoustic alarm signal has a time limit. This
can be set to a value between 11 and 176 seconds.
All function and time settings at the control unit may only be performed by suitably trained or qualified
staff!
