SPEED Sensor BOLT Installation
BOLT SENSOR - JAKE’S DISC
BRAKES: (Most all models):
Pictures shown off the vehicle
but can be performed on the
vehicle, drivers side.
Mount the magnet into the
SHORT bracket as shown and
use the DISC mounting stud,
hand tight for now.
Mount 10MM Speed Sensor to
the LONG bracket with two jam
nuts. Align the 10MM sensor as
shown to mark a drill spot. Drill
into the Drivers side Disc Brake
bracket 1/4” (6.6mm) hole.
Adjust BOTH 6mm Magnet and
10mm Speed Sensor for 1/4”
(6 to 7mm) gap (the width of ZIP
cable tie).
SLOWLY rotate hub check -
ing for interferences that
could damage the 6mm mag-
net or Sensor - at least 1/4”
(6 to 7mm) space between ANY
object. TIGHTEN ALL BOLTS.
Gap assumes the carts bear-
ings are in good working order.
