Configuring Basic Network
Settings
EdgeMarc SBCs feature an easy-to-use graphical user interface that provides access
to the VoIP Operating System (VOS) for EdgeMarc so you can manage settings for
your deployment. This section explains how to configure basic network settings that
enable the EdgeMarc device to function in your IP network.
The EdgeMarc’s VOS GUI interface is accessible through a web browser such as
Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox. EdgeMarc devices are
shipped with the pre-configured IP address 192.168.1.1 for the LAN port. Configure
the system’s WAN interface using the IP address, default gateway and valid Primary
and Secondary DNS server address or credentials assigned for your EdgeMarc
appliance by your Internet Services Provider (ISP).

Accessing VOS for EdgeMarc
1. Connect a computer to LAN port 1 of the EdgeMarc.
2. Enable DHCP on the computer so that it will obtain an IP address.
3. Launch a web browser on the computer and enter the URL string:
192.168.1.1
.
4. Press
Return.
The login window opens.
