7.8.
Clean mode CLn
With the MECHANIKA MAX you have the option of programming a reminder for the next brew group
cleaning via the menu settings. At the time of delivery of the machine this is set to 0; so there has yet to be
a reminder programmed.
To programme the cleaning reminder, please proceed as follows:
1.
Press
▼
and
▲
simultaneously, "t1" will appear on the display.
2.
Press and hold the
▼
button until "CLn" is displayed. Press
▲
to
enter the CLn menu.
3.
You can now programme a reminder in steps of 10, between 0
and 200, by pressing
▼
and
▲
. The selection is confirmed after 3
seconds. After a short wait, the menu is automaitcally exited.
For example, if you have set the reminder to 90, you will be reminded to clean the brew group with a 'CLn' via
the display after 90 brews. Now clean the brew head (see point 10.2). The CLn message on the display can
be reset using the 'rst' function via the PID display (see 7.9).
We suggest cleaning the brew head after 90
–
140 extractions/shots.
Only brewing for more than 15 seconds is counted as an extraction/espresso shot.

Reset Rst
To reset the reminder functions, please proceed as follows:
1.

t” is displayed. Press

to
enter the rst menu.
3.
Now you can choose between the options CLn (see 7.8) and FL
(see 8.3) with the

button. The

button must be kept pressed.
A succesful reset will be confirmed via the following display: "---".
The button can now be released and the menu will be
automatically exited.
