USING THE APPLIANCE
Before you start using the appliance, do not forget to remove the protective foils from the ceramic hob!
The ceramic hob is controlled using touch buttons, the activation of each function is confi rmed by the
appropriate indicators and an acoustic signal.
Touch controls
•
The control elements react to the touch, you do not have to press them forcefully.
•
Operate the buttons with the whole pad of your fi nger, not just the tip.
•
A successful pressing of the button is signalled by a beep.
•
Make sure that the control elements are always clean and are not covered by any
object, e.g. a dish or a tea towel. Even a thin layer of water can make operating
the buttons diffi
cult.
Choice of suitable dishes
•
Do not use cookware with rough bottoms, which could scratch the ceramic surface.
The bottom of the dish should be as thick and even as possible. Before use make
sure that the bottom of the dish is clean and dry.
•
The dish bottom must not be smaller or larger than the cooking zone, the
bottom should have same size to avoid waste of energy. Always center the
cookware in the cooking zone.
•
When moving the pot or pan always lift it up, never push them on
the ceramic plate to prevent it from scratching.
Appliance control
Cooking start
After turning it on a short beep sounds and all indicators light up for 1 second and then go off . Thus the hob
indicates that it is in a standby mode.
With the touch of your fi nger activate the cooking zone, which you want
to use.
Put a suitable dish on the cooking zone.
•
Make sure that the bottom of the pot and the surface of the hob are
clean and dry.
Use buttons (+) and (-) to set the temperature level.
•
If you do not set the temperature level within 1 minute the hob shuts
down and you have to start again from the beginning.
•
You can adjust the cooking temperature any time during cooking.
•
You can also change the temperature by holding longer the buttons
(+) or (-).
Finishing cooking
Turn off the cooking zone by reducing the temperature with “-” or by
pressing (+) and (-) in the same time.
Press ON/OFF switch of the cooking zone to end cooking.
