7.9.
DIALER
This menu is related to communication in voice channel with ContactID (DTMF) or
SIA (FSK).
NOTE: Please bear in mind that communication in voice channel can be set
to work in parallel with GPRS/SMS transmission. It can be important issue
for bill expense management.
7.9.1.
General options
These options allows configuration of Dialer of PX100D device. It is possible to
completely turn off Dialler or to enable communications with one or two receiving
stations. Communication parameters can be defined with following options:
Number
– receiving station telephone number
Test period
– user can enable periodical communication tests between
PX100D device and receiver station; time period is in minutes
Number of attempts
– defines number of attempts of sending each event
when first try fails
Delay between unsuccessful attempts
– defines time period between
following attempts of sending event to the receiving station
Period of inactivity after number of attempts goes beyond the limit
–
defines time period of inactivity in communication with receiving station when
“Number of attempts” parameter is exceeded.
