5. COMMISSIONING
WARNING
Risk of electric shock!
•
The equipment must be commissioned, used and maintained by qualified
personnel.
•
All precautions for using equipment connected to mains supplies must be
taken when it is used.
•
In particular, the equipment must be earthed through the power cord and
through the dedicated earth connection on the rear panel (see16.1 section
Z2 note)
•
Always ensure that the high voltage presence light is off before connecting
or disconnecting a wired assembly to be tested.
5.1. CONTENT WHEN DELIVERED
When the measuring device is delivered, the package should contain the following items:
•
SEFELEC1500M megohmmeter device
•
1 x 2P+E 16 A power cord, 1.5 m in length.
•
4 x 10-points plugs of the screw terminal type with green cover
•
1 x printed Complete user manual for the device.
•
1 x printed guide for safety rules in high voltage test
•
1 x CE mark conformity certificate (included at the end of this manual)
And according to your order:
•
The SEFA-SE15, SEFA-
HV15, …measuring accessories
•
WinPass-MX software.
•
Measurement data document

5.2. SETTING UP THE VARIO US CONNECTORS AND CORDS
Before turning the measuring device on, check that the following connectors and accessories
are correctly connected and locked in position:
•
The 10-pin C5 safety circuit plug should be connected to the 10-pin safety circuit socket (note
that these sockets are keyed)
•
Power cord on the rear panel and on a 16A mains socket with earth connection.
