Installing the new QUAD POWER SUPPLY

Warning

Dangerous Voltage

[1] De-energize the PROCESSOR.

Note

If the PROCESSOR has a SORTER, remove the BIN ASSEMBLY.

[2] Lift the TOP COVER.

[3] Remove:

• DRIVE SIDE PANEL

• INTERFACE CABLE

• NON-DRIVE SIDE PANEL

• DRYER SIDE PANEL

Note

Optional: The ELECTRICAL BOX can be removed from the PROCESSOR to do the following procedures.

[4] Open the ELECTRICAL BOX.

[5] Remove from the QUAD POWER SUPPLY:

• CONNECTORS J9 and J10

• 4 SCREWS inside the ELECTRICAL BOX that hold the POWER SUPPLY

• 4 SCREWS under the ELECTRICAL BOX that hold the POWER SUPPLY (SCREWS not shown.)

[6] Remove and discard the QUAD POWER SUPPLY. (QUAD POWER SUPPLY has been damaged by heat.)
