13. Possible problems and solutions.
In the event that the device is functioning abnormally, refer to the FAQ below:
A. The device does not turn on after having switched it on.
For safety purposes, the e.ziclean® HOBOT cannot initiate a cleaning cycle in the event that the
force of adhesion between the wall and the robot is poor. This problem can have several different
causes:
. The microfiber pads are too dirty.
. If a protective film is present on the glass pan, it may hamper the robot’s navigation.
. The glass is too wet, the robot is slipping.
B. The device stops in the midst of cleaning. The red LED is flashing.
The e.ziclean® HOBOT can only function on a perfectly flat surface. In the event that the adhesion
between the robot and the wall is not perfect, the lack of aspiration will immediately stop the device.
This problem will be obvious from the red LED visible on the screen. It will then be necessary to
reposition the robot on a very flat surface and then reactivate its cleaning mode from the remote
control.
C. The device does not detect the edge of the top of the glass pane or stops in the middle
of the window.
In the event that the device does not detect an edge, it may insist on this edge.
In order to remedy this problem, press STOP on the remote control, then activate one of
the following 2 Automatic cleaning modes:
D. The robot is leaving streaks on the glass.
The e.ziclean® HOBOT guarantees efficient and effective work on the walls to be cleaned. However,
if its pads are too dirty or the glass pane to be cleaned is too dirty, it is recommended that you
change the pads, then perform at least 2 cleaning cycles.
E. The robot was accidentally disconnected from its power supply and is no longer
accessible.
Use the safety cord to delicately maneuver the robot towards you.
F. Once the robot is on, the suction system does not turn on.
The robot may not be fully charged. Perform a complete recharge of the device, then perform
another test.
