7. The UPS security system.
Un-interrupted Power System security system gives your robot autonomous adherence to the glass
for a duration of 30 min. Thus, in the event that the e.ziclean® HOBOT should be disconnected from
its power supply, constant adherence to the wall will be assured during this period.
The robot will have to be re-connected to its power supply cord as quickly as possible in order to
avoid any risk of falling. A visual and audible warning signal is provided for this purpose.
8. Prerequisites prior to use of the device on a glass surface.
A. PREPARATION OF THE GLASS TO BE CLEANED.
Before turning on the e.ziclean® HOBOT on a glass pane, the surface must be devoid of any
element that may cause a streaking risk.
B. PREPARATION OF THE ROBOT.

Be sure that the device is fully charged. Check the Battery LED. When the light is green, the
e.ziclean® HOBOT is ready to work and ensure the UPS feature for a 30 min. period. The security
battery charge time is approximately 3 hours.
 Place the Microfiber pads provided with your device on the supports provided for this purpose.
The pads must be very clean before each use. They are hand and machine washable. They can be
used on both sides.

Fasten the 2 pad supports under the
robot.
The pad supports will easily attach to the
robot by correctly matching the 6 pad
support tabs with the slot in the housing
compartment.

In order to optimize the e.ziclean® HOBOT’s cleaning performance, place a few drops of your
window cleaning solution directly on the pads. Do not wet it too much for fear of it interfering with
the device’s adhesion to the panel.
