Section 5: Vehicle Operation

5.1

Main Disconnect Switch

The vehicle is equipped with a master disconnect switch that detaches the
battery pack power from the rest of the vehicle systems. This switch is
located at the front of the vehicle inside the front right wheel well. The
switch is equipped with a key on a chain. To power the vehicle, insert the
key into the socket and turn clockwise until it locks in. To relieve power
from the vehicle, turn the key counterclockwise and remove the key. This
switch should be disengaged before any maintenance or repairs are performed on the vehicle.

*Note:

If the vehicle is equipped with Optional AC drive system (and the accompanying 12v

battery), this switch does not entirely disconnect the batteries from the vehicle. The F5 fuse
also needs to be removed to disconnect the 12v battery. (See S
