Solar Panels

This option provides a slow recharge of the
vehicle’s batteries from the sunlight. The
amount of charge depends on the location used
and amount of sunlight. The maximum charge
that will be received will equate to about 10
miles per day on the 400 watt solar panel
system. The panels should be kept clean by
washing with soap and water. The power meter
displays the amount of power the solar panels
are supplying to the battery pack in amps, volts
and watts. This display is located on the dash
panel just above the ignition key. Scroll
through the readings on the display by pressing
the “>” button. All other buttons on the display are for programming purposes only.
