5.4.5 Trickle Charge
As long as the charger cord stays connected to the vehicle, a new charge cycle is triggered 24
hours
after the end of the last charge cycle. This continually maintains the batteries at full
charge as long as it is plugged in and compensates for the natural battery discharge over time.
5.4.6 Anti-Drive
The vehicle utilizes a safety feature to keep a user from driving away with the power cord
still connected. This prevents potential damage to the power cord or bodily injury. As long
as there is a power cord plugged into the battery charger inlet plug at the front of the vehicle
and power is present, the vehicle will power up with the ignition key but it will not move.
Once the power cord is disconnected, the vehicle will drive again.
