TechnicalInformation
Batteries
The Dynatron ibox is powered by two 1.5 Volt AA Alkaline batteries. The
actual life of the batteries will depend on the battery type and device
settings used. Alkaline batteries of lesser quality as well as rechargeable
batteries will not perform to the highest standard.
Low Battery Levels
When powering-on the Dynatron ibox, if the battery levels are insufficient
to complete the treatment (2.3 Volt minimum), LOW BATTERY will appear
in the display window or the device will not power-on.
If during a treatment, the battery level drops below 2.1 Volt, eight long
beeps will sound and LOW BATTERY will appear in the display window.
The treatment will be terminated. This may occur with older batteries that
drain quickly during a treatment.
Long Period Non-Use of Batteries
If the Dynatron ibox will not be used for a long period of time (more than
one month), it is recommended that the batteries be removed from the
battery compartment and stored for future use.
Replacing the Battery
1. Remove the battery compartment cover located on the back of the
device by sliding the cover in the direction of the indicator arrow.
Use both thumbs and push in and down at the top of the cover.
2. Remove the discharged batteries from the device. For disposal of the
batteries, see manufacturer’s instructions and follow applicable laws
and regulations in your area.
3. Place the new batteries into the device. Be sure the terminals are
in proper alignment. The Positive (+) end of each battery should be
aligned with the Positive (+) indicator marked on the device. Do not
force the batteries. Check for alignment if the batteries do not slide
into the device smoothly.
CAUTION
Turn the device OFF before inserting or replacing the batteries.
