4.2 DVS Web Utility
The DVS Web Utility can be used to configure, reboot and shut down
the SpycerBox Ultra. Once the operating system is loaded, it can be
found on the desktop of the SpycerBox Ultra.
The DVS Web Utility will run in the standard web browser of your sys-
tem. After starting it with a double-click of the mouse you have to enter
a user name (default:
admin
) and password (default:
dvssan
).

With the DVS Web Utility you can change the configurations of the
DVS system (e.g. its IP address or Fibre Channel connections). Click on
the respective item to the left to view and change the configurations.
For this you may have to stop running ports first, e.g. you may have to
stop the Fibre Channel targets to change the initiator/target settings.
Afterwards you will see the options to change settings.
The DVS Web Utility can also be used to gather log files of the system,
for example, for troubleshooting. By default they will be saved in a sin-
gle archive file to the desktop of your system.
Additionally, with the DVS Web Utility you can reboot or shut down the
DVS system. This may be especially important if your device is equipped
with InfiniBand. Then it is recommended to either use these options or
the optional scripts available on the desktop.
When stopping ports, the interface of the DVS Web Utility may
not update properly. To update the screen select the respective
page again from the navigation items to the left.
