10.1. Operation of the programmer
The programmer includes 3 buttons :
: Skip to the next setting and validate the change at the same time.
: Display the volume of water remaining before complete regeneration (default setting) // Program exit.
+ : Entry into the program.
: To change the value of the setting/ initiate a forced regeneration.
10. USING THE PROGRAMMER
The unit settings have been made for regeneration using AXAL PRO salt tablets.
AXAL PRO tablets are made of a very pure salt, providing maximum cost-effectiveness. They gradually
and regularly dissolve in the salt tank, creating a clear brine, at the concentration required for regeneration
and maintaining maximum efficiency of the softener.
The use of salt left in an open package should be avoided. Salt should be stored only in a clean and dry
place.
Seal the package.
The quality of salt used must comply with the EN 973 standard.
In the event of the presence of impurities too heavy to protect your pipes and water softener, you can
put in a protective filter.
In the case of installation of a filter on a water line with a softener equipped with a built-in bypass, a
choke valve must be installed after the softener, so that the filter coil can be changed without needing to
completely drain the installation.
In case of emergency :
a. Remove the transformer from the electrical power outlet.
b. Close valves 1 and 3; open valve 2 to supply yourself with hard water. If the water softener has a builtin
bypass, put the handle in bypass mode. You are supplied with hard water (p11 c.1.).
In case of sale of the building :
a. Put the softener in “holiday mode”, see point 10.3.2.
b. Remove the transformer from the electrical power outlet.
c. Close valves 1 and 3 (open valve 2 to provide yourself with hard water - p 41 C.1.). If the water softener is equipped with a
built-in bypass, put the handle in bypass mode. You are supplied with hard water.

Leaving the softener shut down for several weeks without putting it in holi
day mode may cause breakdown of resins, resulting in non-potable water.
