3.12.4 Reset Immobiliser
- This function used to reset immobilizer when immobilizer system has fault
- Used for PIAGGIO/ VESPA motorcycles that have IC types are: AC13I,
AC19I, AC20I, AC21I, AC23I, AC24I, AC25I, AC27I, AC32I, AC5I, AC8I,
AC601, ACII, AC2I, AC5I, AC8I, AC13I and ECM types are: MIU G3/RIU1.
Step 1
: Select “
RESET IMMOBILISER
” menu in function table, then press
“
Select/ OK
” button
Step 2
: View and execute as instruction on the screen to reset immobilizer
3.13 VIEW ECM INFORMATION
Select “
ECM INFORMATION
” menu in function table then press “
Enter/
OK
” button. The screen will show ECM information:

3.14.1 Simulate signal

3.14.2 Check quality of battery
Step 1
: Connect battery-checking cable between MOTOSCAN and
motorcycle follows the guidebook.
NOTES:
Connect correct electrical terminal of cable to battery
(red clamp to the
positive battery, black clamp to the negative battery)
Step 2:
Supply feed power for MOTOSCAN by the power cable or 220VAC-
12VDC power adapter
Step 3
: In main interface of the screen, select "
SPECIAL TEST MODE
"
menu then press the "
Enter/ OK
" button.
Step 4:
Select the “
BATTERY LIFE
”
menu
to check the battery quality
then press the "
Enter/ OK
" button.
