Example: If MOTOSCAN read transponder code is: “7D5F000023AFED89”
then you enter it into D5 machine as below:
5. Press “ ” button to complete transponder code writing, the screen
display as below:
6. Insert key into key reader area
7. Press “ ” button to confirm chip type.
8. Press “ ” button to execute write information into transponder.
Wait few seconds, if transponder code writing is successful then the screen
displays as below:
If transponder code writing is fail then the screen displays as below:
3.12.3 Replace ECM
- This function used to reset immobilizer when you replace ECM
- Used for PIAGGIO/ VESPA motorcycles that have IC types are: AC13I,
AC19I, AC20I, AC21I, AC23I, AC24I, AC25I, AC27I, AC32I, AC5I, AC8I,
AC601, ACII, AC2I, AC5I, AC8I, AC13I and ECM types are: MIU G3/RIU1.

Step 1 : Select “ REPLACE ECM ” menu in function table then press
“ Select/ YES ” button:
Step 2 : View and execute as instructions on the screen then press
“ Select/ OK ” button to execute.
Step 3 : Reset immobilizer
Step 4 : Register key as step 3 of item “ 3.12.1 Register slave key”
