IP870 Operation Manual
Setup Your IP870
1.
Assign specific IP sharing/NAT equipment as
the gateway for IP870 and other nodes.
2.
Prepare a set of IP address for IP870.
1) Available Pseudo IP Address
2) Gateway IP Address
3) Subnet Mask
3.
Press and hold button for 2 seconds to
enter the configuration mode. Refer to
Chapter
3 IP870 Configuration
to edit the above IP
information on IP870.
4.
Prepare a computer on the LAN to Telnet
IP870. Make sure the computer's TCP/IP setting
is in the same subnet as the above IP870.
Setup Your IP870
1.
From your computer, run Telnet program for
connecting to IP870 by its default IP address
192.168.0.30
or the IP address you have
assigned.
2.
After connecting to IP870, the prompt will
display the current software version, MAC
address and password. The default Telnet
password is
0000.
Input the default password
or your specified password, if any, and press
Enter to continue.
Telnet Your IP870
Telnet
C:\ telnet 192.168.0.30
(or telnet the IP address you assigned
on IP870)
