Note:
If your network is in NAT environment, you will be able to use IP870 with pseudo
or private IP addresses after performing the port mappings. Please refer to Chapter 7
How to Setup IP870 in NAT Environment.
Tips:
If you use PPPoE for connecting to the Internet, you could shutdown the Internet
connection by pressing and holding button for 2 seconds when off-hook. You will see
the steady @ sign on the LCD screen turn to be a flashing @ sign. To retrieve the Internet
connection, repeat the above procedure.

Note:
The default account is the 6-digit Device ID preset in your device when you
purchase the IP870. You may ask your retailer or dealer to credit the Device ID so you
can use it instantly.
ITSP Setup
(Device-to-Phone Mode)
The Device-to-Phone Mode allows your IP870 to connect to a compatible gateway, such
as DSG IP2000, so that the receiving party is able to receive an Internet phone call with a
regular phone. To use the Device-to-Phone Mode, you may use the default account* or
you need to get a valid ITSP account* and enter all of required information in ITSP Setup
section.

Account for further information about applying an active ITSP account number from DSG
compatible Internet Telephony Service Providers (ITSP).
