CHAPTER 7
The IP870 supports NAT (Network Address Translation). You can connect IP870 behind a
firewall, NAT router or IP sharing equipment or software for better enhancement of
network security and the utilization of Internet access. You can assign pseudo or private IP
addresses on IP870 and perform port mappings allowing your IP870 to communicate with
remote IP870 or DSG VoIP devices over the Internet.
