NOTE
: Always allow time for the system to reach steady
state! Deviations between set value for skin temperature
and measured values are normally eliminated
within 5 to
15 min
.
NOTE:
An infant's skin temperature changes frequently,
for instance as a result of food intake or treatment
procedures. Deviations of a tenth of a degree are normal.
Therefore:
Only change set value for skin temperature if core tempe-
rature needs to be corrected.
WARNING !
When using skin temperature control mode,
check infant skin condition at regular intervals
and verify that skin temperature probe is
securely attached. A detached probe will
measure air temperature and the baby might
become overheated.
