Preparing for Intra-Hospital Patient Transport

●

If height adjustment option is installed, lower bed to
lowest possible position.

●

Swivel all cabinet trays inward.

●

Swivel instrument tray inward.

●

Detach or relocate any accessories protruding
sideways from the unit.

●

Turn off heating systems and disconnect unit from
power.

For intra-hospital transport of a patient with
Babytherm 8004/8010:

Install cover (available accessory) to protect patients from
cold drafts:

Position cover on the end panels.
Side panels can still be opened when cover is
installed, end panels

cannot

be opened.

2

Verify inside temperature with thermometer mounted
inside the cover.

NOTE:

When using cover, use 230 mm high side panels.
