How does the POS system work?
The Dotypos POS system consists of two basic parts. The first part
is the touch cash register itself (or more registers), connected to the
internet and with peripherals such as a printer or bar code reader. The
second part is the so-called Dotypos Cloud with a web storage.
Dotypos Cloud is an easy web application that provides an advanced
management of the whole system as well as access to the cloud,
in which data from the cash register are automatically real-time
backed up.
Data and any changes in every cash register are automatically syn-
chronized with Dotypos Cloud. So you always have up-to-date infor-
mation at hand in all devices, even when you get a new cash register
or replace an old one. Dotypos Cloud provides an option for perma-
nent surveillance over cash register operations.
Reports will provide you with a real-time overview of your sales.
The Dotypos Cloud interface is optimized for displaying on mobile
devices, e.g. smartphones or tablets.
