In the
Prices
field enter the product sale price. If you do not enter
a price, you will be asked for it during every payment. By clicking
on the symbol you pull down other price options.
In the part Packaging and units enter the number of pieces per one
sale. Then you can also specify the EAN or PLU code in the part Bar-
code . Not only these codes can be used to search products on the
main screen.
Save and reopen the product by clicking the icon in the upper right
and selecting Save and Edit . After saving and reopening, you will
be able to edit other product features, which you can scroll to the
right to see.
If in the advanced Dotypos settings you have enabled takeaway sales
(see chapter 3.2.1 Takeaway sales ), this option will be displayed in the
product properties in the item

. In the same way, you will find
Portion in the preferences only if in the Application settings you de-
fined the portion as a percentage of the common portion’s quantity
and price.
Categories and products can be created also via the Dotypos Cloud
web interface (more information in the part
4. Dotypos Cloud
).
