Steering Wheel
Remove & Install Steering Wheel
1.
Remove cap (1) from the steering wheel.
2.
Remove nut (2) and cup (3) from the steering
wheel shaft. Put location marks on the steering
wheel and the steering wheel shaft for installation
purposes.
3.
Use a rubber hammer to remove the steering
wheel from the shaft.
NOTE:
Use the following steps to install the steering
wheel.
4.
Put the steering wheel on the steering wheel shaft
on its original position.
5.
Install cup (3) and nut (2). Tighten nut (2) to a
torque of 80 ± 7 N

m (60 ± 5 lb
•
ft).
6.
Install cap (1).
