Steer Wheel & Bearing

Remove Steer Wheel & Bearing

NOTE:

The procedure to remove the steer wheels is

the same for the right and left steer wheel.

Support the steer axle with a floor jack or a wood

block under the frame (A).

Remove wheel nuts (1) and wheel assembly (2).

Steer wheel (2) weighs approximately 34kg (75Ib).

Remove wheel cap (3).

Straighten and remove split pin (4).

Remove nut (5) and washer (6).

Remove wheel hub assembly (7).

Tools Needed
