i-mode enables you to use online services,
such as connection to sites and the Internet,
and i-mode mail, using display of i-mode
compatible terminals.
i-mode is a paid service that requires a
subscription.
Refer to “Mobile Phone User’s Guide [i-mode]
FOMA version” for details on i-mode.

Using i-mode
Sites and web pages on the Internet are
generally protected by copyright law. Selling and
redistributing whole or a part of texts, images or
other data downloaded to i-mode compatible
terminals from these sites and web pages for
non-personal use as they are or a part changed
without author’s permission is prohibited.
Still pictures/moving pictures/melodies
downloaded from sites, files sent/received by
mail (still pictures/moving pictures/melodies,
etc.), “Screen memos”, “Message R/F”, etc.
cannot be displayed/played, if a different UIM is
inserted or the handset is turned on without a
UIM.
If files with access restrictions by a UIM are set
as the stand-by display, ring tone, etc. and a
different UIM is inserted or the handset is turned
on without a UIM, settings are reset to default.

You can view sites that are not supported by
i-mode as they appear on PCs with the
FOMA terminal using Full Browser.
Note that making a communication with
large-volume data, such as viewing a web page
with many images and downloading data will
lead to higher communication charges.
You can use Full Browser through Wi-Fi. Packet
communication charges are incurred if you
switch from Wi-Fi to FOMA network. Note that
the network does not return to Wi-Fi
automatically if you switch to FOMA network.
