* Press for 2+ seconds.
To use the FOMA terminal, open it (normal position) or use it in the viewer
position.
When the FOMA terminal is switched to the viewer position for the first
time while the stand-by display is displayed, the screen rotation setting
screen automatically appears. Set the function to be activated when the
FOMA terminal is switched to the viewer position while the stand-by
display is displayed in the normal position (

The operation can be continued with the touch panel when the FOMA
terminal is switched to the viewer position while the function is being
used in the normal position.
• Some functions are not available in the viewer position.
When carrying, keeping the FOMA terminal closed as shown in the
diagram for step 1 is recommended.

Opening the FOMA terminal

Open carefully with both hands.

Open the display until
it stops midway.

Rotate the display 180°
to the right.

Flip the display forward.

Note the following when rotating the FOMA terminal display.
Do not hit the key surface, etc. May damage the key surface (See
“Cautions when rotating”).
Do not rotate in the opposite direction or further than 180°.
