Mail
When mail cannot be sent outside the service area, that mail is sent
automatically after returning to the service area.
Make up to 30 send reservations. Mail with a send reservation is saved in
[Drafts].
When the mail is automatically sent, the stock icon [

] (new auto send
result) appears, and the auto send result can be checked.
The mail, which is not automatically sent, is save in Unsent messages,
and [
;
] appears in the upper part of the display.
When the 2in1 is used, mail with a send reservation is automatically sent
regardless of the mode. The send result appears as follows.
For [A mode]: Results of mails of Address A
For [B mode]: Results of mails of Address B
For [Dual mode]: Results of all mails

The following icons appear when mail is received.
Meaning of icons
• [ W ], [ X ], [ K ], and [ L ] may not appear even when mail is held at the
i-mode center.
• [ W ], [ X ], [ K ], and [ L ] do not appear when Receive option setting is
set to [ON].

Up to 100 KB for each i-mode mail (including attached files) can be
automatically received. Attached files exceeding 100 KB can be
manually retrieved from the i-mode center (

When received mails saved in the FOMA terminal exceed the maximum
number/capacity of saved mails, they are deleted starting with the oldest.
i-mode mail or Message R/F is held at the i-mode center when one of
the following occurs.
When the handset is turned off While in the Self mode
Outside the service area During a Videophone call
While Omakase Lock is set During Ir communication
While connected to the FirstPass center
When there is no available space due to full of protected or unread
i-mode mail
During iC communication
During Bluetooth communication
