Security Settings
Omakase Lock is a service to lock the personal data such as phonebook or
IC card functions of Osaifu-Keitai in case of loss, etc. by only your request to
DOCOMO via phone. Important privacy and Osaifu-Keitai of the user are
preserved. Additionally, even though Omakase Lock cannot be enabled at
the time of subscription, if communication becomes available within a year,
Omakase Lock is automatically enabled. However, if the subscription for the
line is canceled or suspended, the phone number is changed, or a new
FOMA card is issued in case of loss or other accidents (only when the
FOMA terminal is locked with number specified), Omakase Lock does not
become enabled even within a year.
The lock is disabled by a call or others from the user.
If the user is a member of docomo Premier Club, Omakase Lock is
available without the handling charge as many times as needed. If the
user is not a member of docomo Premier Club, the usage fee of
Omakase Lock is charged (However, if Omakase Lock is subscribed
while or at the same time as when the use of FOMA terminal is
suspended, the usage fee of Omakase Lock is not charged).
Additionally, if Keitai Anshin Pack (Mobile Phone Security Package) is
subscribed, Omakase Lock is available for a flat-rate.
When Location provision ON/OFF is set to [Loc. provision:ON] or [Reject
No. unset] during Omakase Lock, request for Location provision in the
GPS function is answered.
For details of Omakase Lock, refer to “Mobile Phone User’s Guide
[i-mode] FOMA version”.
If Omakase Lock is set, [Omakase Lock activated] appears.
While Omakase Lock is enabled, all key operations and functions
(including IC card functions) are disabled, except receiving a voice/
Videophone call and turning the power ON/OFF.
Receiving a voice/Videophone call is available, but the caller’s name and
image are not displayed even if they are saved in the phonebook. Only
their phone number is displayed.
While Omakase Lock is enabled, received mail is held at i-mode center.
During Omakase Lock, turning the power ON/OFF is available. Omakase
Lock is not disabled even when the handset is turned off.
The FOMA card and the microSD Card are not locked.
During All lock, making voice/Videophone calls is not available.
However, calls to emergency numbers (110, 119, and 118) can still be
made. To make a call, enter a phone number in the terminal security
code entry screen and press

. The phone number is masked with
[

].
During All lock, Chaku-moji is not available.
During All lock, alarms are not available.
i-mode mail, SMS, and Message R/F are automatically received but are
not displayed on the screen during All lock. Once All lock is disabled,
i-mode mail, SMS and Message R/F icons appear.
During All lock, Area Mail is automatically received and displayed on
the screen.
Request for Location provision in the Map/GPS function is answered
during All lock.
Even if i-
a
ppli call is received during All lock, the ring tone does not
sound, Called LED and vibration are not activated. In addition, [
a
] or
the stock icon [
a
] (New i-
a
ppli call) does not appear. It appears when
All lock is disabled.
Failing to disable All lock five times consecutively will turn the FOMA
terminal off. Turn the handset on again and enter the correct terminal
security code.

Omakase Lock can also be enabled/disabled from the My docomo
website using PCs.
When Omakase Lock is activated while other functions are being
activated, the functions being activated are ended and locked.
Omakase Lock is prioritized over any other lock functions.
When the FOMA terminal is outside the service area, turned off, or
used overseas, Omakase Lock is not enabled and disabled. In another
case, it may happen depending on the way of using, etc.
