113 Sound/Screen/Light Settings
When a call is missed or a new mail message comes in, the detailed Missed Call display/Inbox List is displayed
when you open the FOMA phone.

p When a call comes in EASY Mode, the detailed Received Call display appears.
p When an incoming call is missed after a mail message is newly received, the detailed Missed Call display is preferentially
displayed.

Item Operation Explanation
Lighting ON or OFF
ON or OFF
Enter a light time (seconds).
p Enter from “015” through “999” in three
digits.
You can set whether to light the backlight in
ordinary time.
p
If you set to “OFF”, “ ” appears on the
Stand-by display.
Also, you can set whether to activate Power
Saver Mode for the display.
p The setting here applies to “Power saver
mode” of “Display setting” as well. (See
page 112)
p When an image other than still image or
animation GIF is set for the Stand-by display,
the Stand-by display shifts to Power Saver
Mode when a standby time elapses during
pause or after the playback of the image.
Charging Standard or Constant light
Standard . . . . . . . Lights during charging in
the same setting as it
lights in ordinary time.
Constant light . . . Always lights during
battery charge.
p If the power is supplied from external power
sources such as an AC adapter (option),
the setting for charging applies, regardless
of the on/off setting of the backlight for
ordinary time.
Area LCD+Keys or LCD You can set the range the backlight lights in.
Soft light ON or OFF You can set the display backlight to light up
softly.
p When “LCD AI” is set to “ON”, the backlight
might not light up softly.
Brightness Select a brightness level. You can adjust the brightness to Level 1
(dark) through Level 3 (bright).
