Implication for designing computer mounts:
•
If high energy excitation frequencies mainly occur at or below the natural frequency
of the DLoG X 10 or X 12 with its mounting, then you should not use a spring
mounting. High energy excitation frequencies at or below the natural frequency can
be found, for example, in a vehicle chassis tuned to a low frequency.

However, if high energy excitation frequencies mainly occur above the natural
frequency, it is recommended that you use passive vibration insulation for the
computer. This applies to fork lifts without springs, with solid rubber tires or for
unbalanced machineswith relatively constant and correspondingly high operating
speed.
Random samples of fork lift rotors were taken and the field excitations measured:

These values can be assigned to operation class (5)M3.
The basic DLoG X 10 / X 12 is designed for operation class (5)M3.
Depending on the equipment (e.g. 24-key keyboard) and mounting
types (e.g. with elastomer springs), the operation class can be
reduced to (5)M2 or (5)M1. If you have any questions regarding the
