Appuyez sur la touche pendan t en viron 1 seconde . Les fe ux de statio nnement s’allum eront

Si votre véhicule est muni d’une t ran smission automatique et qu e ne dém arr e pas d ès la prem ière
tentative, le système s’éteindr a, at tend ra qu elques seconde s et t ent era à no uveau de dé mar rer le
moteur. Le s ystème procéde ra à 3 te ntatives de déma rrage, ava nt d’aban donner en cas d’échecs
répétés.
Pour Pa rtir
Lorsque le véhicule est en ma rche suite à un démarr age à distance, ap puyez sur la touche
pour désa rm er le dispositif antidé marrage ( si installé) et déver rouil ler les por tièr es (si le
Verro uillage à distance a ét é installé). Entrez dans le véhicule et pr océdez comme suit :

Tournez la clé en position d’allum age ( IGNITION ON / RU N ). (N e tournez pas la
clé en position de dé marrage ( CRAN K ) penda nt que le moteu r est e n mar che. Ceci
amène rait le Télédém arr eu r à t ente r un nouveau démarr age.)

Actionnez la pédale de frein p our dés engage r le Télédém arr eur .
Vous pouvez maintenant p art ir.
Remarque : Dans certains véhicules équipés de l’option « PTS », la Pr ise en charge « PTS » n’est
pas possible puisque le fr ein éteint le moteur peu impor te le cas. Veuil lez en parler à votre
technicien afin de déte rm iner si la Pris e en charge « PTS » pe ut fonction ne r dans vot re véhicule.
Caractéris tiqu es du démarreur à distance
Verrouilla ge à dis tance
Si votre d ém arr eur à distance à été installé avec l’opt ion de ver rou illage à distance, vou s po urr ez
pren dre avan tage du téléd éverr ouillag e.
Pour VERROUILLER les portières et A RMER le système :
1. Appuyer et maintenir la touche pour environ 1 secon de.
2. Les fe ux de sta tion nem ent clign ote ron t un e fois po ur con firmer le verrou illage de s
portières.
Pour DÉVER ROUILLER les portières et DÉSA RMER le système :
1. Appuyer et mainteni r la touche pour environ 1 second e.
2. Les fe ux de sta tion nem ent clign ote ront de ux fois po ur con firm er le dé verr ouillag e de s
portières.
Ouverture du coffre à dist ance
Si votre système est installé avec l’ Ouverture du cof fre à dist ance , vous pour rez ouvr ir votr e
coffre en enfonçant le bout on pendan t 3 secondes sur la télécomm ande.

en laissant le moteur en ma rche, p ar exemple lor sque vous ar rêt ez faire une co urse ou une
livraison.

You are now ready to drive off.
Note: On some Push-To-Start (PTS) vehicles, no takeover is possible as pressing the brakes will
shut the engine down. Please talk to your technician to determine if the “Takeover mode” can be
set for your vehicle.
Remote Starter Features
Remote Door Locks
If your system was installed with the Remote Door Locks option, you will have the convenience of
remote keyless entry.
To lock your doors and arm the starter kill (if installed):
1. Press and hold the button for approx. 1 sec.
2. The parking lights will flash once to confirm that the doors have been locked
To unlock your doors and disarm the starter kill (if installed):
1. Press and hold the button for approx. 1 sec.
2. The parking lights will flash twice to confirm that the doors have been unlocked.
Remote Trunk Release
If your system was installed with the Remote Trunk Release option, you can open your trunk by
pressing the button for 3 seconds on the remote transmitter.
Idle Mode
Convenience feature: Idle Mode allows you to keep the engine running and the doors locked
while you stop, for example, at a convenience store or for a short delivery.
This feature allows you to let the remote starter take over control of the vehicle (i.e. no Key in the
Ignition Switch) while the engine is running.
Activating Idle mode (Automatic transmission):
1. With the engine running, make sure to release the brake pedal and press the ,
or button on the transmitter until the parking lights come ON .
Note: SmartStart™ can be setup to use the icon to activate Idle mode.
2. Remove the ignition key from the ignition switch.
The engine will continue running.
3. Exit the vehicle. All doors, the hood and trunk should be closed
4. Press the button to lock the doors, to arm the starter kill and to arm the alarm. The
engine will be kept running at idle speed.
a. When re-entering the vehicle, the user must reinsert the key into the ignition and
turn it to the
ON position (not Crank) without pressing on the brake.
b. Once the key is in the ON position , press on the brake pedal to put the
transmission in gear.
c. Drive off.
If your vehicle has a manual transmission, Idle Mode can be activated through the same routine as
that used for Ready Mode (page-5) ; at the last step, the button is pressed instead of the other
buttons. This will lock the doors, arm the system and leave the engine running.
