STORAGE PROCEDURE

NOTE: Never pressure wash the electronic controls, bearings, solenoid valves, hydraulic manifolds or other
component containing seals (Figure 106).

STEP 1

To prevent any accumulation of dirt, soil, material, excess of grease, or any other substance which could absorb
water and cause moisture and rust, clean the forage harvester thoroughly.

STEP 2

When equipped with processor rolls, run the harvester for a few minutes and check the processor rolls bearings for
any overheating. With any temperature excess or abnormal noise, replace the faulty bearing.
