OPERATION 

68 

F-N-R TRANSMISSION SHIFTING 

NOTE: The tractor SCV must be set in continuous mode to shift the transmission. 

WITHOUT METAL DETECTOR, OR DEACTIVATED

In this configuration, the transmission control is fully manual. 

REVERSE

o

Press « R » on the shifter switch to move the shifter to the reverse position. Make sure the button is
pressed until the shifter has move to the end of its stroke.

FORWARD

o

Maintain « F » pressed to the end of stroke to engage the harvester in forward.

NEUTRAL

o

Press « F » to move from reverse to NEUTRAL and stop in mid-range as shown on the indicator.

o

Press « R » to go change from FORWARD to NEUTRAL and stop in mid-range to the Neutral position.

WITH METAL DETECTOR

The transmission is operated in a semi-automatic mode for models equipped with FerroDtec system. The main 
switch on the control box must be ON, as well as the detector switch (Items 1 and 2) as well as the hydraulic system. 

REVERSE

o

From the NEUTRAL position, press and hold « R » on the shifter switch (item 5) to engage the
transmission in reverse.

FORWARD

o

From the Neutral position, press once (hold for a fraction of a second) on « F ». The transmission will
engage in forward automatically.

NEUTRAL

o

From REVERSE, release the « R » switch and the shifter will move back to NEUTRAL automatically.

o

From FORWARD, press once on « R » to return to NEUTRAL automatically.
