Method A
Preparing:
Do the calibration on the field, under seeding circumstances. Inflate all of the
tires according to the specification in the user manual.
1.
Measure and delineate a 100 m long track. Start from outside of the track.
Accelerate to about 10 km/h velocity, and maintain this speed.
2.
When you reach the stake marking the start of the calibration distance (the axel
of the back wheel is in line with the stake), touch the Start symbol on the
display.
3.
Maintain your speed. When you reach the stake marking the end of the track
(the axel of the back wheel is in line with the stake), touch the Stop symbol on
the display.
4.
As Distance covered, enter: 100.00 m.
5.
The program calculates the impulses per meter. Calibration is concluded, you
can leave the screen.
Method B
In this case there is no need to do the speed calibration, if the impulse/meters value is
known.
In case of using radar, the impulse/meters value can be found on the radar’s data sheet.
The impulse/meters value can be set in the input field on the bottom of the screen.
For the most precise area measurement it is crucial to set the working-width and do the
speed calibration accurately.
