Connecting to the Network

connection.

Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the network
outlet.

Connecting
to ThinWire
Ethernet

Follow these steps to connect your system to the ThinWire
Ethernet network:

1.

Move the network switch to the right (see Figure 3–2) for the
location of the switch.

2.

Remove the T-connector from the system unit.

3.

Remove one or both terminators from the T-connector: If
your workstation is the last one on the ThinWire cable,
you need to leave one terminator attached to terminate the
network connection. Otherwise, remove both.
