Upgrading a Model 30 (No Diskette)

2.5 Configuring the Drives on the New Drive Plate

Determine where you will install the drives on the drive plate as follows:

Then

You are reinstalling one RZ22/RZ23

drive with the TZ30 tape drive

the RZ22/RZ23 should be in position 3

with the TZ30 in position 2.

You are reinstalling two RZ22/RZ23

drives with the TZ30 tape drive

the RZ22/RZ23s should be in position

3 and 4 with the TZ30 in position 2.

You are reinstalling three RZ22/RZ23

drives with

TZ30 tape drive

the RZ22/RZ23s should be in position

2, 3, and 4.
