2. After the slave drive has been installed, it needs to be activated in the menu, as
follows:
Power on the DHT. Only the master drive will be detected.
Press
Menu
on the front of the DHT (or on the remote) then arrow down to the
HDD/REC SET
menu and press
Enter
.
Arrow down to
HDD SLAVE
and press
Enter
. This will change HDD SLAVE to
YES
.
Arrow down to
Exit
and press
Enter.
3. Power down the DHT for about two minutes (from the switch on the back.)
4. Power on the DHT. It should detect the master drive, then the slave drive
5. Press
the
Enter
button on the remote. The System Information will display on the
screen. Confirm that both the master and the slave drives are listed.
