Purpose
Read the next available
Ready/Not Ready
status.
Query “SR?”
Classic “SR”
Remarks The
current
Ready
status can be read using this program message.
Possible replies:
“NR”
The pressure is Not Ready within the limits defined by the control mode and current
control parameters.
“R ”
The pressure meets the ready criteria. The status is replied when the next pressure
measurement is finished.
“OL”
The pressure of one of the active RPTs has exceeded the user defined upper or
lower limits .
“OP”
The pressure of one of the RPTs has exceeded the RPT’s maximum limits.
“TO”
Active external RPM4 timeout.
“ER”
Active external RPM4 communications fault.
“XE”
Active external RPM4 not connected to PPCH-G test port.

Purpose
“Static” or “dynamic” control modes: Read or set the current stability limit as a % of range.
“Monotonic” control mode: Read or set the “rate limit” as a % of range.
Command

“SS%?”
Classic “SS%=

”
“SS%”
Arguments
n:
The stability or rate limit in %FS of the current active range.
Remarks
The stability or rate limit can be read and set as a percent of the full scale range of the RPT
range. These limits are part of the ready criteria. The “stability” limit applies to “static” and
“dynamic” control modes only. The “rate” limit applied to “monotonic” control mode only. If this
program message is used to set the stability or rate limit, the PPCH-G will then use CUSTOM
control settings.

Arguments
n:
The stability or rate limit in the current pressure unit of measure.
Remarks
The stability or rate limit can be read and set as a pressure in the current units. These limits
are part of the ready criteria. The “stability” limit applies to “static” and “dynamic” control
modes only. The “rate” limit applied to “monotonic” control mode only. If this program
message is used to set the stability or rate limit, the PPCH-G will then use CUSTOM control
