Suspension of the heater must conform to applicable codes referenced in the Safety section and these
instructions.

Mark locations for hanging points.

Prepare mounting surface. If necessary, weld blocks and drill holes.

Fasten bean clamp, screw hook, or other type of suspension anchor to hanging point.

Attach and close stainless steel S-hook and #2 stainless steel bulldog chain (P/N: THCS-DST) to

anchor. Check that it is securely attached.

NOTE:

Threaded rod may be used.

Attach stainless steel S-hooks to hanging points on heater. Adjust chain lengths until heater is level

and equal weight distribution is achieved.

Heater Placement and Suspension

Improper suspension of the tube heater may result in collapse and being crushed. Always
suspend from a permanent part of the building structure that can evenly support the total
force and weight of the heater.

Failure to maintain minimum clearance to combustibles may result in fire and/or explosion,
property damage, serious injury, or death. Always maintain minimum clearances and post
clearance safety limit signs or the clearance safety tag where needed.
