3.6.3.2 Gas Heater (Optional)

Dehumidifiers equipped with optional gas heating should be inspected

annually before each heating season. Check the following items:

•

Ensure that the vents and air intakes are clean and unobstructed.

•

Clean the vent and condensate drain line if necessary. Repair any

damaged sections of the vent.

•

Inspect the pressure switch tubing connections. Verify that the

inducer fan is free of corrosion, warp-age, deterioration, and carbon

buildup. If necessary, clean the housing and the blower wheel with a

damp cloth. Vacuum any lint or dust from the inducer motor assembly.
