Attach the contra-angle handpiece that you wish to use with Endo
function to the electric motor.

Insert a file in the contra-angle handpiece. This ensures that the file
is taken into account in the measurement.

Purge
3. Press and hold the Endo / Purge key (> 2 s) or press the right
button of the C+ electronic foot control.

Ä A revolving element is shown in the SIM display of the dentist
element.
The bur drive is ready for calibration.

4. Hold down the foot pedal throughout the duration of the calibration.
Ä The revolving element is still displayed. During calibration,
increasing speeds are set on the motor.

When the bur drive is calibrated, this is indicated by a "c" on the
SIM display of the dentist element. Calibration is then finished.
4.4.8.3 Setting the torque
With the Endo function switched on, torque and speed of the contra-
angle handpiece are indicated, but not of the motor. The control
electronics of the bur drive calculate the motor control based on the
specified contra-handpiece gear reduction and the set torque and
speed.
Torque values for the steps of the endodontic treatment can be stored
on the favorite keys 1, 2 and 3. The set speed remains unchanged. The
set speed will remain unchanged. Instrument settings can be made
without using your hands on the 4-way switch plate of the C+ electronic
foot control.
CAUTION
Incorrect speed and torque settings can cause the files to break off.
