Switching the operating light and composite function on/off
Press the
Operating light fixed key on the dentist or assistant element
repeatedly to set the following switching states:
1. Switched on: The operating light is switched on at the preset
brightness level.
2. Composite function: The operating light is operated with reduced
brightness (approx. 10,000 lux) to prevent the premature curing of
composite materials.
3. Deactivated
➢ Press the
Operating light fixed key on the dentist or assistant element
(several times if necessary).
ª
The examination light switches to "switched on", "composite
function" or "switched off".
Setting the brightness, color temperature and sensor control on the
EasyPad
The brightness, color temperature and sensor function (On/Off) can be
adjusted via the dentist element user interface.
Furthermore, the distance from which the contactless sensor should react
to movements can be adjusted.
1. Press and hold the
Operating Light key on the dentist element (> 2 s).

The
Brightness operating context is displayed on the EasyPad
screen. The setting focus flashes.
2. Use the left and right arrow of the favorites key to adjust the
brightness of the operating light (7 levels). The left arrow key reduces
the brightness, the right arrow key increases the brightness.
3. Confirm your setting with the
2 / Setup favorites key.
ª
The
Color temperature operating context is displayed on the
EasyPad screen. The setting focus flashes.
4. Use the left and right arrow of the favorites key to adjust the color
temperature of the operating light (3 levels). The left arrow key
reduces the color temperature, the right arrow key increases the color
temperature.
IMPORTANT
You can also detect that the Composite function is activated through the
considerably warmer light color (approx. 3,250 K).
